We’ve been asked to share how the Leopold Center has benefited us and Iowa at large through our research. This will be shared with legislators and entered into testimony. Here is the request:
We need your story about what you did/are doing with the Leopold Center and how you are working in the field now (especially in Iowa). Also, how is the Leopold Center helping to keep young people in Iowa? It is possible that all of the testimony we collect can be entered into the record during debate.
What we need to emphasize is that Leopold Center research and education is not duplicative and that the work is not “finished.” Republicans are under the illusion that it only does water quality and soil conservation research.
